A wonderful example about why Westerns beat in Afghanistan.In a situation that peoples of Afghanistan need schools, hospitals, constriction, reconstruction, roads, clinics, clean water, food, haven, shoes , cloths, job , medicine and hundreds of other urgent needs, the British PRT team In southern province of Helmand wants to Spend more then twenty million dollar to build a radio Network station.
What’s afghan needs ?
The first duty of the international community in Afghanistan is to stabilize the country, and destroy the source of Taliban in Afghanistan.
And it’s the urgent needs of Afghan citizens in any part of the country especially in southern province of Helmad, the Province that more then 6000 British troops are based in.
recently Afghan president Hamid Karzai very clearly criticized the British Forces activities in Afghanistan and he said very loud that Britain’s are lost in Afghanistan to bring the peace and stabilization for afghan citizens special in Helmand Province.
My question
I would like to ask from the Britain government officials that do you think when people do not have enough food, medicine, water, shoes and cloths for their childrens, they listen to your Twenty million dollar radio station.
Currently four radio stations including three independent and one State Stations are On-air in Helmand. But look to the evaluations that how money peoples are interest for hearing?

I think it’s one of the hundreds examples that shows us why we are losing Afghanistan.
The needy of Afghans are not the same with westerns citizens, Afghans still think how bring a Piece of bread and glass of tea at the end of the day for their children and family.
I as an afghan citizen request you kindly and very friendly to please review your strategies about Afghanistan, because with this point of view you’re losing Afghanistan.

I think you highlighted an important issue Baktash, it exemplifies the incongruence between the peoples of Afghanistan and the international community. Aid organizations have in the past, and in the current scenario pushed their own agenda's in Afghanistan. Vary few NGOs attempt to meet the needs that the local population themselves stress upon, instead they presume they know what the local population wants and needs. The 1500 NGOs that are currently in Afghanistan need to coordinate their efforts with the needs of locals, other NGOs and the State. The country needs security not radio stations, my plea to the international community is to reprioritize their efforts and not waste tax payers hard earned pounds.
