Why a Military Commander in diplomatic Mission?

Karl W. Eikenberry is an American lieutenant general and has been chosen by President Barack Obama to be the next U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan. Selection of a military General on high diplomatic duty shows that war is the precedence of Obama Strategy in Afghanistan.

Karl W. Eikenberry has a good experience as Military Commander in Afghanistan but it’s not clear that how he work in a diplomatic position.

Eikenberry has a good relation with Afghan officials specially his relation with president Karzai is very friendly, it seems that the united state new government under the Barack Obama Leadership wants to Stop more the Blaming Game with Karzai administration and spend a few more months of his work as an afghan president in current political atmosphere.

Because Karzia recent emotional and reactionary actions shows that he can more, Evan he can call a loya Jirga and deiced that no more need for US forces presence in Afghanistan and they must leave the country.

Also he can be effective on the creating an anti Americans atmospheres among Afghans.
