120-years-old Afghan Female voter: I do not vote for Karzai Again

BIBI Gull, 120 years old, has seen presidents come and go in her lifetime and has outlived most of them. For the first time on a cooled winter morning, she went to vote in 2004 for president Hamid Karzai:

“That was the first time I ever attended for vote registration and I saw many people who were getting their election cards.” I latter went and voted near my home in Hirat Province, because I am a women who thinks and cares about her country fate”.

This is a part of the BIBI GUL Speech the oldest women’s voted for President Karzai in the 2004 presidential election in Afghanistan, she is now 120 years old living in western province of hirat.

She is determined to vote in the next year presentational election. She’s not letting her age-or anything else- get in her way,

But the only changes in BIBI GUL determine is that she never vote again for Karzai in the presentational election:
” Karzai haven’t done anything for us, our children’s con not go to the school, security is getting worse day by day, billions of dollars spend in Afghanistan but our economy in Bad situation, peoples are poor and nothing changed in the ordinary peoples life, I never vote for Karzai again”.

Afghanistan can be solve by the military but:

Comment on Simon Shercliff, British First Secretary Foreign Security and policy in Washington article on Afghanistan:

Absolutely that Afghanistan cannot be solved by military means alone,
But if it means that we bring the Taliban in the Power then it’s not a good judgment.

If we sacrifice the justice for peace then it’s better to have a look on the Zoo,

I as an Afghan citizen think that the Afghanistan can be solved by the military but:
First we have to find out that who or whos are supporting the Taliban which can resistance against 60000 foreigner troops with modern military facilities?

If the answer is alQaida, then where it based? If the answer is Pakistan, then how they can send the military facilitates to the Taliban in Afghanistan?
And if the answer is the income of narcotic for Taliban, then why the foreigner troops are announcing in the Afghani Media that we are not in here to fight against Narcotic?

We can win in Afghanistan with:
Destroy of the Taliban and Alqaida Bases in Pakistan.
Send more troops in Afghanistan Border with Pakistan to cut of the relations between the insurgents in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Start of a serious war against narcotic Growing, producing and traffic
Increasing the number of Afghanistan security forces including Afghan national Army and Police.
Increase the number of civilian support from Afghans.
Negotiate with Afghanistan Neighbor countries and paying attention on their concerns about the presence of foreigner troops in the country.

Afghan Citizen Blog in BBC your Story

A teenage girl whose face was sprayed with acid on her way to school in the southern province of Kandahar Afghanistan, has been speaking about what happened.

Your Story citizen journalist and blogger Baktash Siawash managed to see Shamsia as she lay in a hospital bed recovering from the attack.

Listen to Baktash's Your Story citizen journalist report (5 mins 2 secs)

Baktash managed to get into the hospital Shamsia was transferred to in Kabul after speaking to someone he knows working there, who said he might be able to join a group of schoolgirls, teachers and journalists who were going in to speak to her.

Shamsia said that two men on motorcycles drove alongside she and her sister as they were on their way to school at 8 o'clock in the morning. They were running late.

One of the men asked where they were going.

She said to school.

It was then that he sprayed the acid into her face using a small plastic gun.

She shouted for help, but no one came.

She managed to get home where her mother took her to hospital.

When Baktash saw Shamsia on the hospital bed, he says it was an emotional moment, as the other girls were shocked and a teacher was crying. He says she could hardly open her eyes due to the burns.

Under the Taleban government, girls were banned from attending classes and the attitudes surrounding the issue of female education remain entrenched.

Baktash says that there has been universal condemnation of the attack on Shamsia. But when he talks to people about whether girls should be allowed to go to school and the wider issue of Afghan womens' role outside the home, it is a different story.

One man Baktash spoke to said:
"Our culture and Afghan pride do not permit our wives to go outside and work, what are men for? Those who think it's OK must have come from abroad."

Baktash says he was struck by Shamsia's bravery as she said she had one message for those who threw the acid on her face:

"If they repeat this action on me a hundred times I will never leave school and I will continue my studying."

And she had another message for Kandahari school girls:
"Please, please, please do not leave school and your learning."
